The Ponytail Palm (Indoor)

Description

Amigo is not a palm at all but a succulent. It’s native to the deserts of Southern Mexico and is a member of the Agave plant family which is well known for its syrup and as the main ingredient in tequila! The Ponytail Palm is not a big drinker though, and won’t mind if you forget about him for weeks at a time. He stores water in his bulb-like trunk, making him very drought tolerant and an excellent choice for forgetful waterers or frequent travelers. Salud to that!
